Corinne & Phil (Wilson) held their reception at the National Trust site Lyveden New Bield, nr Oundle, Peterborough on Saturday 22 August. The bride & groom and wedding party were transported to the site in VW camper vans and the guests followed in 'Wilsons' coaches.
Haybales and garden games were set and played upon the guests arrival and a shooting range was set up alongside the marquee for the chance to win a teddy! 'Wilsons' real ale and pimms were served in the reception area of the marquee.
The wedding breakfast was fish and chips, cooked on site in a vintage chip van. Cupcakes, made by friends, were served on the tables on our vintage glass cake stands for dessert.
Corinne and Phil chose to have a 'cheese cake' instead of a traditional wedding cake which was a talking point and was served with the hog roast in the evening.
As favours, the bride & groom filled mini jars with sweets for the girls and made cd's for the boys!
Corinne & Phil wanted a sweetie table for their guests and scampi fries & pork scratchings were given away from a wicker basket on the bar. Phil also provided cigars for the boys!
